ok service, and pleasent enough. But has that strange interior that reminded me of a Berni Inn (anyone remember those!?)

outrageous prices: Shandy 3.65, coke 2.30.... doubt I'll bother going back, as it's not the best pub in the area, yet seems to cost a lot more. I was just being lazy in not being bothered to walk to them from my office :)

Excellent pub - was here last night, staff were friendly, food was great and the range of draught ales to die for.
Highly recommend this one!

I've been in about six times over the last two years. Jaw-droppingly pricey. 3.60 for a pint of Strongbow! My mate got his bag nicked in here last night.

Must confirm that the beers are well kept in here. Had a nice pint there last week. Pub's decor is a bit weird though as its trying to be classic inside, but in view of the newness of the Paternoster Square area it probably would have been better woth a modern interior.

The price of drinks in here is now bordering on the ridiculous. It is an amiable place, and sufficiently well staffed to cope with the busiest of periods so there's not too much waiting around at the bar, but why would you bother anymore when you can go to some of the off-piste boozers in the area like the White Horse or Lord Raglan and not walk away thinking you have just been robbed.
