New Landlord Paul Robson, fresh from the success of securing the the Kings Head in Bayswater 'Good Beer Guide' entries several years in a row; is likely to improve this pub over the coming months.

They had six real ale pumps showing today and they said that only two were on.

When will pubs learn to turn the clips around!

Slightly pricey, but a good selection of beers made up for that. Staff were great, I even managed to leave my bag there and come back the next day to be returned it by the staff.

Had a cracking night in the Green Man just before Xmas, think they had new staff coz they were great, going back through the other reviews. They had a full rack of cask beers on and they were going through wine like they were a cash & carry. I noticed that they had opened on Xmas Day this year and were rammed doing loads of food !! Going to be my regular haught now !!

This pub has just been refurbished - what a revelation.
It now has decent barstaff, nice food (if a little bit more pricey), wooden floors, pale walls, a jukebox upstairs, newly painted toilets with proper locks on the doors, and decent beer. The telly and the pool tables are gone (which is a shame as there are very few places to play pool in this neck of the woods), but, generally this pub is much improved. Much as I am a champion of the old-fashioned boozer (the King's Arms virtually next door is great), when it's done badly, there's no point.
Oh, and it no longer smells of wee.
