Here Saturday evening. Its location up a quiet street must be keeping the local riff raff out. Not busy, plenty of seating, nice and neat and a good selection of ales. Not just corporate Fullers but a couple from the fine Gales stable and more besides. Courtyard out back nice and cozy. Worth a visit or two.

Very lively. A very mixed crowd of patrons. The beer was good and the food looked excellent and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere

This place has no redeeming features. I would no longer classify it as gay, the sole bitter pump is usually off and when it's on it's off if you follow. Even the lager is badly kept and that should be almost impossible. Staff range from indifferent to rude and the place has zero atmosphere. I would recommend the Duke of Hamilton, which judging by the piano dedicated to a certain well known gay icon could be the new gay pub, it's also a lot better pub.

Change of hands hasnt exactly helped this gay venue in Hampstead, very racist and unproffesional meneber of staff( i wont mention any names)and certain locals, who have something against certain members of the Golders Green area, a bit rich coming from a gay pub. This bar is known to short change entertainers with excuse after excuse of "this is not what we asked for' so any performing here in the future beware..As far as decor and furniture no problems. a change of attitude needed big time..

Agree with the prevous reviews, went in last Saturday and as i ordered The Flying Scotsman they ran out, tried the Pride which promptly ran out ,so had to settle for the Directors which was nothing special.Staff were pleasant but embarassed to be running out of everything.
Will be back as it is a nice atmosphere, but please sort the beer out !!
