Loud rock pub, now affiliated with the recently closed Horn in Hand. Expensive and crowded. Sometimes an upstairs room is open.

Great place to go for a beer before going to Rock City or The Rescue Rooms, no real ales are served though, clientel are mainly the young music going type.

I thought the staff were quite friendly here, but didn't order any food. Clientel were a bit hardcore for my liking, but a good list of offers on the board to rival the Fountain in Aberystwyth.

Didn't try the ale, got tempted by a vodka and poor man's red bull.

The food here was terrible but we were brought up to be polite so we didn't complain and tried to eat as much of it as we could. The drink is okay...just don't eat the food!
