Sorry to report that the Muldoon family have sold up and moved on. As 'Chester' noted (Aug 2006 post), tenants only seem to stay for six months. Its a shame they couldn't make a go of it as a comedy/music venue; especially as its now back to its old uninviting ways.

Sadly, no longer recommended.

What used to be a bit of a down-at-heel boozer has been transformed over the recent while into one of the most happening music, comedy and variety venues in West London.

Run by the Muldoon family that saved & ran the Hackney Empire for 15 years, the pub has now got a great vibe - just goes to show that it's the landlord's personality that makes or breaks a pub experience.

Live music on Wednesday evenings & all day Sunday, comedy on Tues & Sat nights and occasional Music Hall nights.

Well recomended.

I was in this pub-for the 1st time-and found the bar staff very very rude, aggressive and unfriendly. They were shouting at customers and not being nice at all. I do not recommend this pub to anybody and could not wait to get out of there soon as. I think they should all be fired and the manager got to look for some friendly bar stuff instead. I will tell all my friends and people i know to NEVER EVER go there.

being here seems a bit surreal.. the locals are friendly, except when it comes to billiards... but its a little bit of a dump though... still fun if that is what you are after!!!

The Cock is a cool place for a pint or 2 - always guaranteed a seat, its cheap as chips and there is no hint of gastopubitis which seems to have infected so many of the other pubs in the area. had cool runnings on the tv one saturday afternoon i was in there - you can't say fairer than that.
