http://lifeandsoulprincess.wordpress.com/2011/09/30/varsity-huddersfield/ Scores on the (royal) doors: Food and service: Staff were pumped and ready to go Atmosphere and decoration: Good reliable student bar, a dying breed. Facilities: High heel friendly, I hate slippery floors, never a good look when you fall on your face. Talent Radar: Oh yes, the blokes that were there score a good 8/10 although a bit young for me. Fun Factor: Major fun, great music, good dancing fun was had by all Perfect for: Hangover fixer food, cheap prices, student hang out, free Wi-Fi. In 3 words: Raise the roof! lifeandsoulprincess - 30 Sep 2011 16:42
Has added 2 real ale pumps with OK Bombardier and Green King IPA. However, the till price for Bombardier was higher than the displayed price list. Tut, tut.... oftenscore6 - 3 Mar 2009 22:19

This place isnt that bad for a chain pub, the food is nice and they have most standard lagers and bitters, probably one of the best 'popular' pubs for a night out in town. But if you're looking for a real pub go elsewhere. DKavanagh - 3 Dec 2004 10:11
