Operated by Select Service Partner, Yate's Manchester Piccadilly can be a quiet place to drink before (or after) travelling. Nice place to arrange to meet someone on the station as its off the main concourse. 'Outside' seating area on the balcony overlooking the concourse but there is not much to see other than trains. Ideal if you are train spotter but not much else as the announcements get in the way of any conversation. DATAjammer - 19 Feb 2006 15:55
This is a good one to finish the night just before last orders. Be careful on footy days especially England matches as Old Bill don't like people hanging around and drinking. anonymous - 13 Jun 2005 02:02
This place is not your typical Yates', meaning it's not up it's own arse... you can go their pre-train journey, get a few(?) beers bown you and slosh off to your destination with a smile on yer face (from the booze) Luke - 28 Aug 2003 15:06
