| The Cliffe Inn has been renamed the Horse Chestnut and is the third pub owned by Bartsch Inns. It underwent a £400 000 renovation and enlargement in 2006 and is no longer recognisable as the same pub. There are now 8 real ales available at all times and are invariably served in perfect condition.Despite the costs of the renovation beer prices are very much below average for the area.
