| returned after three years to see if they've found how to smile ?? Landlord/manager is a right missarable twat !!! What is it with this place ?? | Locally, this place is known as `the doom and gloom`. It earned this reputation years ago and after a recent visit i can find no reason to disagree. It is an indifferent place that serves good beer. If a person were prone to bouts of melancholia then this is certainly one place to avoid. I agree with previous comments that the staff are downbeat and somewhat miserable. But it has always been so - hence the nickname. JOHNSs - 17 Jul 2007 16:01 |
