Is this a kinder garden? Far too many kids and seeing the ladies toilet turned into a baby changing room was a real turn off...

This pub is now called the Lauriston, it still has pizza, but has made itself a little more trendy and expensive. Nice place to hang out with a free jukebox, but lots of children around.

Been coming here for ages, nice, relaxed atmosphere. Great cocktails and good selection of bottled beer, taps are the usual you get. Food is mainly pizzas, but when I say mainly - damn they are among the best I've ever had. Approx £7 for a 12inch pizza. Tuesdays is 2-4-1 on their large pizzas all day long. Large comfy leather sofa's, I can usually be found one. Shows sport on overhead projecter if asked. Displays art for purchase, and is generally a mix of locals, city suits living in the area and students. Live DJ's after 8pm on a Friday night. Local youths do tend to frequent the later the evening gets, but generally no problems, highly recommended.

Good offers all week including 2 for 1 pizza night and happy hour. Despite being part of chain has a unique, open and relaxed feel. Easily the best pub locally.
