Hello!!! Anyone remember me?!!! I haven't been to Northampton for years-I am glad to see live music is still thriving in The Billy.I am enjoying my retirement in Sunny Exeter!! Still playing-occassionally with"The Skiffle Group" "Wop Bam Boo" Duo/Solo-in fact anyone who will have me!!! My daughter Sue has just taken over my old pub-again!!! "The Bowling Green" here in Exeter. Some sad news;my ex wife-Sheila-sadly passed away two and a half years ago.

A brilliant pub, particularly if you enjoy live rock music. I'm missing it like mad now I've moved away from Northampton. Great staff, nice regulars. Four pints and tinnitus for a tenner used to be a great way to end the week - the beer's gone up, but it would appear the place is every bit as good as it was. Can't wait to get back there for a couple of weeks in a month or so... :)

I'm not a biker, not an all out rocker, but I still loved this pub.
Intimidating in some ways, but get over yourself it has a great atmosphere and is what a traditional pub should be about.
Get over you prejudices and give it a go.
