| This pub seems a bit underrated to me. We went in on a Sunday evening after a long country walk, looking for a couple of pints to soothe our aching feet. We would have liked the Bombardier, only it was off, but the Deuchars IPA and Theakston's XB were perfectly decent substitutes. | After visiting the North Star, what a contrast!.Looks like they've given up with this place. Nice garden, but so sruffy, nice bar, but so tired, one real ale, run out of Kronenbourg blanc,poor selection of spirits and the most boring quiz I have ever entered. | This is a strange one for me to rate as the beer is pretty bad, the food is pretty bad the inside decor is really in need of a refurb but I've been in here loads of time!!
