Went to this pub yesterday (early evening) for a Sunday Roast meal. The beer was good but unfortunately the quality of food was well below standard. There were only a few people in the bar but the service was quite slow. When the food came it was just warm and the beef slices were very thin and and small in quantity. Probably served out of a packet rather than carved from a joint. At a cost of £7.50 I would give this meal a miss. Glosdiner - 14 Mar 2011 09:27
Nice pub, decent staff and food. SLightly pricey but not too bad. silver_uk - 21 Sep 2006 16:57
Now with a change of Landlord but still of the same high quality beer and staff. Food still good but not the cheapest in town. stevec - 4 Jan 2006 14:49
Busy suburban pub. Good staff, decent beers and edible food! Stephen - 6 Mar 2004 15:33
