Still shut as per this weekend. Bookies opposite still open though and the world still spins on its axis....where do all those schoolkids go on s Saturday aftrenoon now?

Closed. Was granted a license in Jan 08 but no activity since then. Now looking shabby and in need of a lot of TLC to restore it to its former glory. This is a great shame as it could be a great alternative to the 'trendy' village pubs and the only local place with a pool table

Grand Reopening soon. Watch this space. Policy will be in place to prevent young children being in passed a certain time.

Pub closed now, no sign of life for the last six weeks or so.

This pub could be fantastic if only a little TLC was put into it. It's in a prime location and would be great competition for the other pubs in the area, i.e., the Castle, Nags Head etc...

If you like watching Sky sports and karaoke on a Friday night then this is your pub. If you don't like hordes of chavy families coming in with their kids (some as young as 3!) and swearing their heads off (and that's just the kids), then steer well clear!
