Took the time to write a very fair review on this pub in the early summer after several visits during my 3 month stay in Windsor.
Mostly friendly locals, cracking little bar, good pint however i also honestly pointed out that on my first visit the barmaid was smashed out of her head and there was local idiots having a running fight outside the front door, this went on for hours whilst said barmaid continued serving the idiots, my posting was removed by the owners even tho all my reviews on this site are fair and balanced .
Will say it again cracking pub with some characters at the bar but you need to ban the troublemakers

Proper real pub, just like they used to make 'em. A welcome break from the 'Ponce Central' that is Windsor on a Friday night

Only popped in for a very quick pint at lunchtime on Wednesday but the beer was in excellent condition, the service very quick and friendly and the general atmosphere very welcoming. I shall return when I have more time.

This is a cracking traditional pub! Recentently under new management! It has a fresh look and a buzzing Friday night trade!
It has a brand spanking new pool table, friendly staff and a wicked take away curry menu!

As any good local, great characters and a warm atmosphere.

Friendly basic locals pub, Brakspears and Landlord were on. Landlady was helpful to our CAMRA group giving us local newsletters.
