| I've lived in Kings Heath for about 5 and a half years now and I have always found this pub very dissapointing. It could be one of the best pubs in the Kings Heath/Moseley area if it was cleaned up and served decent drinks. Last time I went in there was no real ail and no food. There was Staropraamen available which cost £3.20 and didn't taste right. There used to be trophys on the walls, which gave the pub some character but they've all gone now. The pub has now closed again. There is scaffold up along the front of the building. Hopefully this means the new tennants/owners are going to spend a bit of money and do it up propperly this time. It is begging to be given a Pat Kav type make over. I heard a rumour that it was to be turned into an all u can eat chineese. | Great pub. Beautifully kept beer, good range, friendly barstaff, friendly locals. Seems to be the only place in Kings Heath that you won't get mugged / stabbed / beaten up or not up it's own arse. the only thig that makes me want to go to kings hetah. | This should be the pub beacon of Kings Heath, except for the all new Hare and Hounds. Its not changed much over the years, offers loads of entertainment as others have said.
