cracking good pub, Kev and Caroline are superb but are moving on in July 2012 so hope this place doesn't change and the new comers can maintain the quality about 8 quality ales on tap at all times, well looked after and a good range too. Doombar is on all the time and the others change regularly. Well worth a visit! GarmischP - 20 Mar 2012 10:47

First visit here c/o friends who live locally. They said it was good and we were not disappointed. Good choice of ales with a very helpful what's on blackboard which included a colour description of the ales like dark, ruby, light etc, which with all the funny names for beers these days is most usefull. Excellent place. Steamer1 - 15 Feb 2011 11:06
Like Hoppy Al I also spent a very pleasant two hours in here on my first visit. Excellent range of about 9 ales, a mixture of local brewed, Plain Ales, Ramsbury and Hop Back, and some not so local, Dark Star, Sharps. Friendly and welcoming its a must if you're in the area. Will definitely be back. defrakev - 5 Jan 2011 17:23
