| This pub had its ups and downs over the years, despite a few run ins with the staff over their customer service i couldnt help but keep going back. Last year saw a refit come along, with plenty of toilets and longer opening hours. Unfortunatly a hideous paint job and unnessesary name change on the exterior, along witha giant poster of pete doherty also appeared. However Sundays were excellent there, but unfortunatly it would appear they broke the bank, there's me and two friends thinking of going into the castle for a pint only to discover it has been turned into a hippies clothes shop. A clothes shop with about 20 toilets in it. Who is to blame? The manager? The landlords? or the freeloaders who came in on sundays to listen to the superb music and wouldnt buy a single drink.
