Now called McGowan’s

This pub is another addition to the McGowan’s portfolio adding to the one around the corner on Cricklewood Lane. I found the barman to be exceptionally friendly, it’s just a shame that my pint of Guinness was undrinkable – especially for a supposed Irish pub.

There are some plasma screens and a projector screen for Sky Sports events and there is also a dartboard and a pool table. There is some balcony seating around the front edge of the bar area and there is also a stud walled function type room strangely located next to the bar.

I’d imagine this place being popular when there is a football match on, but I wouldn’t return to a pub that can screw up a Guinness.

No this is the one on Cricklewood B'way. Never anyone in there so easy to miss - cheap pints (Ł1.95)until 7 every night I think. Only went there once and no one was there.
