| Car park was full on sunday so expected a poor service but we got served at the bar straight away, found a clear table and food ordered promtly by very efficient waitress. | The beer is average and over-priced and the food is terrible. The beer garden is classed as a play area so plastic glasses only. On a positive note, there is a patio where, on a sunny Friday afternoon, you can watch the traffic chaos at rush hour. nosmo - 27 Aug 2006 12:12 |

| ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT PUB. FOOD FANTASTIC, ALL STAFF VERY FRIENDLY. FOOD CRITIC WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT - THE FOOD IS BRILLIANT. INTERIOR LOOKS AMAZING, NICE LEATHER SOFAS FOR RELAXING, REAL ALES, GREAT SELECTION OF WINES. HAVE BEEN USING THE SPREAD FOR MANY YEARS AND THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT AROUND THE AREA - ALWAYS GET GREETED AS YOU WALK IN THE DOOR, THEY HAVE AT LEAST 3 VEGGIE OPTIONS WHICH IS BRILL FOR ME. YOU CAN HAVE FULL TABLE SERVICE OR ORDER AT THE BAR. PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE CONSIDERING FULL TABLE SERVICE, I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.
