| This is a smashing pub but I hear it will be torn down to accomodate the new Moor. Shame really. Beer is average but better than before and the bar staff are fantastic.Food more than reasonable and the general atmosphere is spot on. You get a lot of civil servants in there but they are usually ok aprt from the loud drunks that used to come in on a Friday to do the quiz and play pool but aren't in as much nowdays. | I was well impressed with the pub, gfreat for the big racing events with Stanley's just over the road. Beer is ok but the previous comment was right, it isn't a great pint. He must have missed me in there as well, shock horror i'm a student :o) BigJapp2 - 28 Jul 2005 14:59 |
