Seriously overpriced even by Young's standards and the Ordinary was just that.

The food is execellente ( beef chilli and Lasagne) everything looked home made and certainly the cheapest and good value, very competitive for the area. The bar staff where very friendly an cutious,to great to chat in special a very exotic chick girl who love make the regular(s)really happy after work hours. In over 8 moths i have never had reason to complain.

This place is ok, but itís never going to win any awards. Itís a good size pub with plenty of outside seating, but the bar isnít that long so I could imagine a bit of a wait on a sunny day.
I think that I counted five Youngís Ordinary pumps, one Bombardier and three unused. Peroni, Kronenburg, Fosters, Carlsberg, Guinness and Dry Blackthorn Cider were also available. The food seemed like standard pub grub and it was reasonably priced.
The staff were nice enough, my Bombardier was good and there is a dartboard, but Iím still not sure that Iíd stick my head in if passing again.

Youngs err, Wells pretty much ruined the asmosphere of the place with its last makeover. JohnBonser hit the nail on the head with his observation of 'sanitized'. However I've found this to be a nice welcoming daytime pub. The food is good and reasonably priced, the Youngs and Bombadier are always well kept. The staff are friendly and efficient. Its a good "lunch & 2 pints" kind of place. For the black lung brigade they've created a pair of heated and sheltered spaces on the front patio.

Agree with previous reviews when debbie and her husband ran this (before the current owners) this place was packed. Always used to pop in as our office was nearby and the beer and service was always A1
NOW its gone totally downhill and is a great shame have looked at other reviews on pubs in this area and a few punters are saying the same about this place
to sum up used to be good, as they say all good things come to an end eh?
The prince william henry has indeed
