Yes not a bad pub shame about the microve pies but it is sam smiths KenGarroo - 1 Sep 2008 22:01
A very nice public house. The lager was certainly cheap enough; well it should be, because it tasted like the manageress had urinated in it. I was in this establishment with my wife who had some kind of pie and chips to eat. This is because she is a pie eater and has the belly to prove it. She said that the food was "cooked" in a mircoware oven and pot noodles and lard would have tasted better. She sends her compliments to the microwave button presser. On balance the highlight of my visit that I enjoyed the most was the smell of the toilets. Some peasant had deposited a pile of excetia on one of the toilet seats. My compliments to mine hosts Monika and Colin. Russell_Sprout - 25 Jul 2008 01:40
Hey Johnny 333, I'm not that old, I just enjoy a few pints of Mild! As you say, it's a bit quiet. mikeupd - 24 Jun 2008 01:08
Took notice of mikeupd report on the Angel,it is actually a nice pub his comments suggest he is really a very old man looking for a cheap pint of mild.A bit of entertainment would not go amiss johnny333 - 28 May 2008 20:08
Sadly the home made meals are only available on Sunday, instead there is the 'standard range' of offerings. Pity; but the Best Mild @ £1.19 a pint partly made up for the disappointment. I think johnny333 needs to go to a Spoonies for his wants! mikeupd - 8 May 2008 22:02
