Great beer - delicious home brewed golden yeast beer. Super surly waiters try their best to dissuade you from drinking a wonderful brew.Grab a corner of a bench, drink deep, then leave. dableywolf - 16 Aug 2009 19:11 |
I agree with almost everything here... we went for the beer, and were turned away, which seemed a bit rude (but that service is typical in central Prague). Returned a day or so later, in the afternoon, and had beer along with fried bread and raw garlic - a snack which lived with us for days. Great big, very interesting, brewpub - but there is better beer to be had. Clive_Pendleton - 22 Jul 2008 13:24 |
two visits to this bar a year apart, and it still seems a good as ever, both the light and dark beers were on top form, nice paprika pretzels too and reasonable prices to boot. salty64 - 7 Jun 2008 18:26 |
Would loved to have spent some time in here and tried some of their beer but unfortunately they refused to serve us because we didn't want to eat. TonyAle - 31 Aug 2007 18:31 |
Their unfltered golden lager was the only house beer on while we were there. Good, but not really remarkable. Also took home the 2 beers bottled (sold as a pair, at an outrageous price by Czech standards, reasonable by Norwegian standards!) Did not eat. Sigmund - 24 Oct 2005 20:07 |
