I was quite taken by this place. The Old Laxey Bosun's Bitter brewed on site is the only ale. But I really enjoyed it. The pub has a nice situation next to a bridge over the river. There is currently no vehicle access over the bridge. But pedestrians can cross. A nice drinking environment and the barmaid was friendly. The landlord/brewer seemed a little grumpy though. Still well worth a visit.

Surprisingly not on the shore but to be fair it is on the banks of the Laxey River with good outside seating and great views up the valley.
Their own beer,Bosun's Bitter,is brewed on site and it's a really good malty pint which is only available in a couple of other places on the island.
Also have a good selection of Cavendish memorabilia.
Well worth a visit.

A very pleasant mile walk from the tram stop gets you to Old Laxey where you can watch the sea go by in all weathers and enjoy the pub's brew. Grub available to keep you going - leave plenty of time for the wobble back to Laxey!

A truly atmospheric pub, steeped in seafaring history, located by the harbour, with its own Old Laxey brewery, specialising in their one and only brew - Bosun Bitter. A worthwhile stop for any visitor to IOM.

This is a lovely community pub a way down the road from Laxey towards the harbour. Lovely setting with a great outdoor drinking area alongside the river. Their own beer is Old Laxey Bosuns Bitter and is well served. They are also well up with whiskies, and every table had a whisky menu. Brilliant place. There is an occasional bus to Douglas, or the Manx Elecrtric Railway up the hill.
