Went on Monday 8 March 2010. Excellent pint of Courage Best (that's saying something!) and a great plate of ham, egg, chips and peas for £8.50. Staff need some guidance but all together an enjoyable visit, well done the villagers! Pubspymaster - 11 Mar 2010 18:11
Great pub owned by the village. Usually 4 or 5 beers on, typically from Rebellion, Brakespears, Youngs and various guests, which are all very well kept. Large garden for the kids out the back. tpfirt - 9 Mar 2010 16:37
Had an excellent roast beef Sunday lunch at this pub yesterday, washed down with some very Nice Hook Norton Bitter. Friendly staff, lovely location, pity the rain kept on trying to make an appearance, but we were still able to sit outside in the very nice garden. julestrainspotter - 11 Aug 2008 09:46
Lovely rustic village pub (owned by the village in fact), boasting 5 ales (all fairly mainstream, could do with a little more imagination on that front) served in good condition. No electronic distractions, so a great place to go for good conversation and a couple of ales. Recommended. Quinno - 3 Aug 2008 14:14
First visit Tuesday lunchtime, superb Sharps bitter, excellent feel to this place, Chilli poor, Ham Egg & Chips spot on barryq - 30 Jan 2008 22:02
