| I've just moved from Howwood, and was bitterly frustrated by how the pub WAS run. The previous owners/tenants ran it as their own social club, and many evenings the pub was filled with young (ie VERY young) people, intent on oblivion. Fortunately, it is now run by a young woman intent on making it more attractive, with real ales, and a good atmosphere, with a friendly barstaff.
