Currently visiting a pub for every station on London Overground. Did this for Woodgrange Park. Pub is in a nice location by Wanstead Flats and you would not think you were in East London. Found the actual pub a little bland though despite the nice setting. Real ale choice was very bland and the pub had a beefeater/ember inn feel to it. hillzy - 7 Oct 2011 19:00
BY FAR THE BEST PUB IN THE AREA. jjaclyn - 7 Nov 2010 13:28
Great pub in a good spot overlooking the flats, decent beer garden and friendly staff. What more could you want ? TONSAI - 22 Oct 2010 17:31
This pub has had a face lift in every way, new management, new menu and I am really pleased that after the refurbishment that the look of the pub has been kept looking traditional and the views you can get of the Wansted Flats are great , it is a well supported and popular pub with locals and visitors. cadetd - 14 Sep 2010 16:45
This pub is under new management and has been refurbed, it is clean and tidy, amazing views for being in East London. The pub has a lovely garden ideal for a nice beer with the kids and dog. A family of 4 could eat a lovely meal for less then £20. Give it a try you won't be let down. jjaclyn - 15 Aug 2010 13:58
