not a bad pub but bouncers can't admit when they are wrong. i was thrown out under suspicion of taking drugs. when bouncers barged into toilet cubicle i had my phone in my hand. when i tried to prove my innocence they refused to even check my phone as i was only mid way through sending a text. it was a shame as i was enjoying the night until that moment. decent pub let down through bad management and pig ignorant security who can't admit thier own mistakes. come to the crown and sceptre in shepherds bush a far more proffesionally run and more welcoming boozer

Used to be a bit ropey haven't been there recently. Saw the tallest girl I have ever seen in there - at least six foot 8

At the ‘Sceptre they are always trying to provide something fresh and vibrant ensuring that they maintain their reputation as a completely different and unique venue. This obviously starts once you walk in the door with the funky décor of 60s and 70s iconic retro style furniture and lighting.
Having established a long standing reputation for quality club nights such as Back to Old Skool, now in it’s 8th month, they have aimed to place the venue as thier premier funky fix in town supporting styles like RnB, Funky House, Hip Hop, Break Beat, D’n’B, Electronica House and Garage which were previously underrepresented.
After rebuilding the sound and light system and upgrading the P.A., and under the guidance of Owner Harry Cooper the ‘Sceptre embarked on attracting a young and vibrant croud,
This change has worked fantastically with the fans seeing some of the busiest nights in the Crown and Sceptre’s history.
The Crown and Sceptre on a Friday night is unlike any other venue in Uxbridge.

Had some fun nights here. Its usually my next stop after ive filled up on cheap booze in the good yarn.

Throw some good discos and attracts young crowds.

Lovely pub
