Reasonable Sam Smiths pub let down solely by the absence of any real ale, which means I won't be rushing back JohnBonser - 18 Jun 2008 13:41
comfortable surroundings; cosy in the winter with roaring fires; very friendly staff and management Kalena - 20 Mar 2008 15:17
A surprisingly good pub for this part of London. Good value Thai food. But why is there no properly served real ale? John_R - 23 Jan 2008 12:39
Looks like it could be an old hotel. Now a Sam Smith’s house that seems to promote organic beer and cider fairly heavily. No cask OBB but the Extra Stout was on good form. The food is Thai like so many pubs these days. The building is nice looking with plenty of stained glass, ornate mirrors, wood panelling and old prints. Upstairs lounge, beer garden and tables out on the main road. Mainly old locals who seem to tolerate the newly moneyed Maida Vale/St John’s Wood crowd. Millay - 23 Dec 2007 19:46
Had a pint love Sam Smith's Old Brewery Bittery (delicious) during a rain break at cricket. Top stuff and pub seemed perfectly fine. From experience, though, the Sam Smith's lagers are evil. JonW999 - 21 Jul 2007 19:03
