| Situated in a cul de sac at Kimpton near Thruxton, this pub does welcome strangers and has a variety of real ales on the handles plus Wadworths 6X. There are usually two groups per month here, you can buy a delicious home made cheese/ham etc here, there's no othere food offered, yet this pub survives and attracts clientele from all parts yet this is still a true locals pub in these days of corporate branding and food pubs where you go to eat and never talk to your neighbours at the next table.
