| A very good old fashioned pub in a pleasant area of Flixton. Three real beers and a good variety of guest beers. Forthcoming guest beers are advertised in advance. Pleasant, helpful staff serve a mixture of regular local beer drinkers as well as the groups of people who come in for food. The current (22.6.2011) two meals for eight pounds is excellent value. The beer, food, and atmosphere make this a popular place to relax in. At lunch time, it is a busy village pub, so we go for our meals just after the busy period. Canoe1 - 22 Jun 2011 17:22 |
