| It’s an O’Neill’s isn’t? Pleasant enough interior, with a thankfully small amount of plastic Irish guff nailed to the walls. I only went in to sample a pint of Guinness Red (See annoying ad at the top of the page) which I have to say was ok, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink again. | O'Neills are usually about as convincingly Irish as my uncle Michael (and I don't have an uncle Michael), but this one seemed a bit better than others I've tried. On the other hand, my judgement may have been swayed by the fact that I got a swift pint of Guinness Red free of charge thanks to the coupon in the Metro newspaper. | I have worked in this Pub from september 2003 to march 2005. It's true that Dave was my manager back then. A very friendly guy, who I didn't hear from since this time. Does anyone knows where he and Mandy are now? Thank you for the comments saying since I and Dave left the pub started to decline. It's a shame though... Then I've worked in the Criterion restaurant (picadilly), and found a proper office job. I am now back in France (Lyon), but I will never regret my old days spent in this pub, I really had fun there, it was a great time and if anyone recognize me, the browned hair french girl, you can contact me!
