Visited again in July 14, and have to say Greene King need to sort this place out... Bar area is dirty, tables sticky, staff looked unhappy and garden overgrown with old wooden tables. There are a few plus points; bouncy castle in garden popular with kids, and a very nice American craft beer (brewed by Greene King). I'm not kidding, at least two people complained about dirty glasses and one about the food whilst I was waiting to be served...

This is a Hungry Horse chain pub owned by Greene King. The place looks a bit tired, but the beer is okay and the food wholesome and reasonably priced. Kids love the garden, and you can sit next to the canal if you want a quieter drink. Does what it says on the can really...
