| Very good traditional pub. Open plan with lounge at the front going through passed the bar on the left to the pool/darts/bar area. There is a massive carved stone inglenook fireplace in this back area which could be part of an original old hall by the looks of it especially with the stone window mullions on the back wall which look part of an old hall too. The place has a real pub feel and has people playing pool and darts. Enjoyed a very well kept pint of Theakstons Best Bitter. Wirral_RealAlians - 22 Apr 2010 21:57 |
