| Slightly odd room layout including a large room laid out as a restaurant and a large central bar makes it hard for this imposing pub to build much of an atmosphere. Menu is 50/50 English and Indian and quite long, but I think they'd be better off with a shorter fresher menu than one that the current one which the chefs appear bored with. My lamb Biryani was large but poor value despite being served by friendly staff, and the chocolate bread and butter pudding was grimly dry and stale and inadequately warmed through.
