Ordinary, over priced food and poorly kept beer, won't be coming back. That's all I have to say. Dellup - 28 Jul 2011 13:40
We do try to support local pubs. It's years since we were in here, it hasn't changed much. Staff still slow and miserable. Had to listen to the local village idiots incessant ramblings about his huge, huge Paterdale (whatever it is). A definite no no. sam25 - 13 Jul 2011 08:19
Lovely old pub but our food was only mediocre, over priced and under cooked. Limited choice of beer and not very talkative bar staff. Won't go again. roger999 - 24 Mar 2011 16:39
Good solid pub decent food & beer. Postal address might be Reading but this pub is actually in Oxfordshire. downsview - 1 Nov 2010 10:33
Only Fullers Pride (£3) on yesterday with Hobgoblin and Brakespears (£2.95) clips turned around. Beer was OK but nothing special. Food menu was reasonable and portions looked good. But, on a warm afternoon, all the windows were closed and locked, the place was hot and stuffy and full of flies! Bar staff couldn't (or wouldn't) open any windows! A Bluebecker pub, open all day. cheshirecat - 18 Aug 2010 09:20
