| The 'Bowling Green' is leamington spa's oldest town hall. The are records of this pub trading in 1625. This makes its history very important. Not only in local history but also in UK history. It is in need of a refurb so still has its 70's decor. This does mean that it's got a lot of charm. If you are in the area please pop in. The Bowling Green, New Street Leamington Spa. | this was pub number 4 on our crawl and was alright... inside it was very hot think they need some A/C... so we sat outside that over looks the canal which was quite plesent.... also they have got a stacker machine which is very addictive once u have a go... griffle - 25 Sep 2007 14:40 |
| Bad point (and it's a biggy): Everything in this pub is sticky. Avoid touching tables, doors, bars, anything really. Good points: sometimes there's some great live music. Every Wednesday is pound a pint AND live bands, both rareties in this town. badgercentral - 7 Jul 2007 22:49 |
| Excellent pub, good atmosphere, but it can get busy in the evenings, especially if there's football or a social event on. I've got food ther a couple of times and it's arrived pretty much on time, not too bad. Drink there. iangb - 25 Apr 2007 19:41 |
