| Friendly 2 bar pub. The locals in the front bar seemed a friendly bunch and immediately engaged us in conversation. Seating was limited, and a bar billiards table was present. The rear room is more of a lounge/restaurant. Kings & Barnes Sussex Bitter and Badger Tanglefoot were the 2 real ales on offer. Stowford Press was the cider. A good secondhand book selection can be seen in the front porch with proceeds going to a local charity. In response to previous comments, I can see why some people would be put off. But this is clearly a local pub and I'm sure the locals are just intrigued to see who is coming into their local!
