Yet another O'Neills, looking forward to what it will be next - although O'Neills may keep going for all I know as they have ridden the fake-Oirish bubble to its end when others have said 'Slan go foill' and gone. I have no idea if they have real ale here or not. They did however have karaoke (thanx Sallie). Also not too far from the tube/railway station. rainlight - 23 Dec 2009 08:42
The big problem with this pub is the attitude of the bouncers and some of the bar staff. They will happily serve drinks five minutes before closing time, and then kick you out on to the street before customers have barely had time to have had more than a sip. This is not a responsible way to run a busy town centre pub. Other than, it's no better than your average chain pub with the usual range of flat lagers, each with its own distinctive metallic tang. The live music is good though. turfbeer - 14 Nov 2008 18:57
Saw a geat band in here Friday night called The Kick...Music was great, good sound and real good vocal on the lead singer!! Bar staff were friendly and good atmosphere in Pub.. ashame about the toilets....needed a pair of wellies to go slash! Definetely keep an eye on when this band are playing next..!> Bobby_123 - 19 Jul 2008 20:54
A good example of a chain pub that can make it work. Good, professional staff (most of which have been there for ages), and they do appear to look after their pumps more than most on the high street. But sort the toilets out! What a let down! anonymous - 23 Jan 2008 22:49
This pub doesn't have so much "something for everyone", but more like "something from everyone"...the toilets were a swimming pool of...well, you know what. That and the beer was pants. Birchy - 5 Nov 2007 20:39
