| Called in at lunchtime for a meal, quiet until 1 o'clock when it got busy. Nice location, tasty food, unobtrusive background music, good selection of beers and only one noisy child (with an even noisier mother). | The Navvie is always hit and miss for food and staff can be either amazingly pleasant or couldn't give a damn. One thing remains constant, good beer. Go there to drink, not to eat. | Nice pub. Good selection of beer. Bar staff friendly. However food service was slow, arrived cold and chips had a piece of scampy or chicken nugget in them! Not very nice for a veggie. Waitress not interested and hardly apologied. doncaosdelanada - 10 Jun 2008 14:10 |
