| Went there a few days ago. The food was very popular. Had the scallops; venison and rhubarb crumble. Very good. And a reasonable price. I didn't try the beer as I had a bottle of wine. The White Lion's web site with menu and drinks list can be found online. Only problem was the confused ordering mechanism. If you're in t he rest`aurant area then someone takes your order at the table. If you're elsewhere in the pub or outside you need to order at the bar. | Distinctly avearage beer. Was served the smallest portion of pasta possible. It was cheap low quality pasta as well. Abysmal value for money. Definitely will not be returning here. The people running this place have become arrogant and complacent. spookyhead - 19 Jul 2008 16:38 |
