| Visited this pub during the festive period after reading it's review in the Warwickshire Food and Drinks Guide 2012. It did not disappoint. The pub itself has a great atmosphere and is beautifully restored. We dined in a cosy book lined room with a well tended fire called The Snug. Although the pub itself was busy at the time, the service was great. We were well looked after by a lovely Australian lad. The young team displayed good knowledge of the menu when we asked. (Apparently many items on the menu are locally sourced). Our meal was ample and delicious. Try the 'deli board' for starters - it is amazing. We will be back! Mikkaau - 6 Jan 2012 19:56 |

| Went here for Sunday Dinner this weekend. 4 Real Ale's on, 2 of which were in great nick, the other 2 I didn't have time to try. | Superb job done on modernising a vitually dilapidated old ale house. Tastefully renovated and parts of the building that were long disused have been brought back into use (and life!).
