| A nice back bar with an excellent choice of ales and ciders as well as a wide range of Scotch whiskies, skittle alley, dartboard, pool table... Well worth a visit. Restaurant is a little pretentious but as a pub person you won't be going there... Campanologist - 18 Jul 2011 15:03 |
| Popped in for a pint or two, and found they had Okells Red and Glencoe Wild Oat stout, so had a taster of the latter, and then a pint, which was pretty good. Menu looked interesting, but nothing which appealed, so I went off to the Fox & Hounds in Cattistock, for a pint of Skunk bitter and one of their enormous sandwiches (Which are always served with a small portion of chips and a salad which is certainly not just a garnish).
