Great pub! Friendly atmosphere and really nice bar staff. Great place for getting together for a game of Trivial Pursuit :D

I tried Master Brew in this pub. The beer cost £3.40 per pint but tasted terrible.

I paid this place a flying visit after an appointment with Randy Mandy and her older sister, Mistress Rita. They specialise in tie & tease, hot plating and drag and crust. I'll give you the number if you like.
The pub? Oh the pub? Crap beer and very expensive.
Nice floor though.

It's not a bad place. Three ales - all Sheps, but well kept.

Probably the best of the pubs you'd pop into on the way back to the railway station, but there's not a very high standard between the west gate and the railway

I've only been in once with a friend who knew the new landlord and wanted to see what he had done to the palce (I say new, I'm not sure if he is, but he was the person responsible for the make-over). We ended up drinking a Dutch lager...all I remember is we decided to call it 'Oranj-ee-boom'. And it did the trick. Clean place that I'd say is trying to keep the students (such as myself) out, which I think they will succeed at because at £3 a pint I can find plenty of other places I'd rather go.
