A little gem down on the quayside, a proper pub, friendly people and staff and the Sam Smiths was second to none.Had the old cask and the stout both were in tip top order.
A must on any beer stroll in the area.

On a Tyne side pub crawl this one is never missed. Great bar and Sam Smiths Old Brewery. Try fish and chips on the near by Fish Quay.

One of the friendliest pubs in Shields. Sam Smiths Old Brewery Bitter kept at its best, a roaring fire in the bar to keep out those winter chills. Always one on my regular crawl round the town.
