| The White Hart Hotel is a real find... a lovely hotel with 5 rooms or so set in the main square of this sleepy market town... The building is vey grandiose, but everything seems in keeping... it sits happily as pub, hotel and restaurant catering for all... lovely bar area and tables to front.. beers on offer were Little Sharpie from the Humpty Dumpty brewery, Moreland original, Adnams dry hopped lager and a few I can't remember.. We ate in the back garden in a lovely marquee, with false grass and fairy lights (and a large tree within) creating a perfect setting. | Independant Pub, went there for sunday lunch, good straightforward boozer with cheap decent food. There was a highly competent bunch of folkish musicians playing in the bar. Definitely worth nurturing. bulky - 29 Mar 2007 12:50 |
