| We have stayed at this pub twice on our way home from Scotland. It has excellent letting rooms attatched to the main building. Your dog can stay with you in the room and is allowed in the bar area. | Visited this pub over bank Holiday weekend (apr 07). Apparently it changed hands last Aug (06) The standard now is excellent. The beer seems well looked after(plenty of hikers calling in and sampling) nice choices of wine (slightly expensive maybe)but the food...wow! it was beautiful. Certainly higher class than your average pub ( the pies even have a top AND bottom) If you're in the area give it a visit, I guarantee you won't regret it AndyKenny - 11 Apr 2007 22:46 |
