I used to be a fairly regular visitor to The Red Lion, but it recent times it's attracted a crowd who can get quite rowdy. As mentioned above they're mostly harmless though and don't tend to bother other people. The jukebox is excellent and the staff are extremely friendly, plus they have a good assortment of live music at the weekend. Pete84 - 28 Mar 2008 23:34
The sort of place where you wipe your feet on the way out. The beer is no great shakes either. The natives are mostly harmless. 3/10 5thearlofwimbourne - 25 Jan 2008 12:03
Thorleys Tavern in the heart of Ramsgates town center. This pub has a great atmosphere, great jukebox, live music, friendly staff and an interesting mix of locals (very alternative). However, the one thing this pub lacks is decent beer, only has courage directors ale wise. the lagers are all served flat, the beer is just crap. Real shame because with a good selection of beer, this would be my favourite pub around. Thebman - 28 Jan 2007 19:53
