| Judging by the size of building, this must have been great in its day. On a weekday lunchtime though: car park empty, front two bars closed, back bar empty but serving. Most of the lights out, and a plasma-screen TV playing to no-one. However, if all that hasn't put you off, there's a real ale: TEA, very pleasant and inexpensive. Food: curries, pies, and stir-fries, home-cooked, surprisingly tasty, good sized portions and not a long wait. So the place looks a bit 'sad' at lunchtime but presumably pays for itself evenings.
